Finback Brewery is a small batch artisanal brewery located in Queens, New York. The aim of the brewery is to make flavorful and complex beers that are fun, unique, and made for enjoyment.
Named in honor of a giant blue-grey finback whale that washed ashore in Breezy Point, the brewery was founded in 2011.
Finback found a space in 2013, and released their first beer brewed on the 20 barrel brewhouse in January 2014. The brewery self distributes to the greater NYC area.
The brewery has a tasting room with twelve taps located at 7801 77th Avenue in Queens. The space features a barrel aging room as well as a sour/funky beer room.
For $125, you can join Finback’s Community Supported Beer program. A membership allows you to receive 6 growler fills at the brewery and access to limited release and pilot batch beers. There are also special events for CSB members.
