Root Down is located in Phoenixville, PA inside the old Superior Beverage Company.

The 13,000 square foot facility offers a relaxed environment with a balance of historic features, including exposed brick, restored flooring, high ceiling and the original elevator of the original Superior Beverage Co.

These historic touches combine with urban ambiance including Wu Tang/90’s Hip Hop, graffiti, and Kung Fu flicks on the televisions.

The brewery offers views of the brewhouse and fermentation space from the massive bar and ample self seating. The full kitchen in the back serves brunch on Sundays, offers a range of smokehouse options, and has several tasty vegan dishes. There is additional seating in the back surrounded by graffiti, a projection TV, video games, bubble hockey, and corn hole.

Root Down is part of the craft beer boom happening in Phoenixville, PA with several other breweries within walking distance including Iron Hill, Crowded Castle, Stable 12, Rec Room by Conshohocken Brewing, and even a distillery, Bluebird Distilling.

Root Down cans several beers, which can be purchased in 4-packs to go from the brewery. Low Bridge Lager is a 5.1% ABV Helles Lager. The clean, crisp beer is sure to satisfy your beer-drinking needs.
