Evil Genius Beer Company Santa!! I Know Him!, a 7.2% ABV Festive Saison
Luke Bowen and Trevor Hayward decided to open a brewery after meeting in an accounting class at Villanova University back in 2008.
After years of building a catchy brand and creating a portfolio of unique beers, the Evil Geniuses have finally secured a building in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA.
Head brewer Jon Defibaugh joined the Evil Genius team a few months ago, bringing years of experience from Earth, Bread + Brewery and Tired Hands Brewing Company.
Evil Genius is notorious for their creative beer names, and their winter seasonal does not disappoint. Santa!! I Know Him! comes from the famous Will Ferrell line in the 2003 Christmas film Elf.
Santa!! I Know Him! is a holiday saison brewed with rose hips, chamomile, black currants and dark Belgian candi syrup. The Belgian-style ale is deep, complex, and finishes bone-dry.
