Wingman Brewers, located in Tacoma, Washington, is “inspired by Tacoma’s legacy of honest hard work… (striving) to create a strong selection of spirited, full-flavored beers for the South Sound region.”

The brewery, which launched in 2011 as a nano-brewery, is named after one of the owner’s grandfather, an artist who served in World War II and painted art on fighter planes. The brewery currently operates with a 7-barrel system.

Wingman Brewers boasts distinctive bomb-shaped tap handles make it easy to find their beers on tap at local bars, and many of their beers are available in cans and bottles at select retail locations around the Puget Sound region.

The brewery offers two year-round beers. The first, Ace IPA, is a typical Northwest IPA brewed with 5 distinctly Northwest hops, the Simcoe, Citra, Centennial Cascade, and Bravo.

The other year-round beer P-51 Porter, a robust and clean-finishing porter. Rich malty flavors highlight hints of chocolate and coffee. At 8% ABV, this dark beer will warm even the coldest Puget Sound nights.

Wingman Brewers also offers coconut, pistachio, pumpkin, Nutella, choco-tangerine, Sriracha, hazelnut, tiramisu, and peanut butter cup variations of the P-51 Porter.
