Aslin Beer Company was founded by a trio – Andrew Kelley, Kai Leszkowski, and Richard Thompson – that wanted to create a company for which they would all want to work. Aslin Beer Company opened in September 2015.

Located in a business complex behind a Hyatt House in Herndon, Virginia, Aslin Beer Company might be tricky to locate for a first-timer, but well worth the hunt.

Due to a discrepancy between regulatory agencies, Aslin closed their tasting room and is only selling beer to go. There is no on-sight consumption. Check Aslin’s Facebook page for daily hours and releases.

Aslin announced this summer that they will be opening a new tasting room and sour beer facility in historic downtown Herndon in 2018. The new spot, located at 771 Elden Street, will be steps from Herndon’s Old Town Hall. The new location have approximately 2500 square feet of interior space, plus a 2500-square-foot outdoor space, including a rooftop deck and bar, bocce ball court, and a covered deck.

Orange Starfish is a Double Dry Hopped IPA with Citra and Galaxy hops. The beer is available in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans.
