Tröegs Brewing Company Nugget Nectar, a 7.5% ABV, 93 IBU Imperial Amber

This much anticipated seasonal offering from Tröegs Brewing Company stirred up even more anticipation with the debut of 16-ounce cans of Nugget Nectar. The cans first appeared on Monday, January 19th, 2015, initially on site at the brewery. Last year Tröegs began packaging Perpetual IPA in 12-ounce cans and Troegenator in 16-ounce tall boys.
A limited stock of four packs and cases of Nugget Nectar cans can be purchased now at the Tröegs General Store in Hershey, PA. Cans will hit the Central PA market this week and other markets over the next two weeks. The beer is already being served on draft and in bottles throughout all markets.
Nugget Nectar is brewed with Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts and Nugget, Warrior, Tomahawk, Simcoe, and Palisade hops, the same base ingredients used in HopBack Amber Ale. Nugget Nectar intensifies the malt and hop flavors to create a dramatic hop encounter. Try pairing this delicious brew with Sharp, Blue or Cheddar cheese.
