Lord Hobo Brewing Company opening in June 2015 in Woburn, Massachusetts, about 10 miles north of Boston, owned by the minds behind the popular Cambridge beer bar, also called Lord Hobo.
The 47,000 square foot facility includes a 4,000 square foot tasting room pouring samples and growlers. The a four-vessel, 40-barrel brewhouse is pumping out beers that celebrate all things hops including Boomsauce, Consolation Prize, Hobo Life, and Steal This Can – all American IPAs.
Boomsauce is the brewery’s flagship beer. It is a blend of 3 of Lord Hobo’s New England style hoppy ales that will “wrap you in a gently carbonated juice blanket.” The beer has an 87 rating on beeradvocate.com and an overall rating of 86 on ratebeer.com.
