Free Will Brewing Company was founded by Brewmaster John Stemler and Manager Dominic Capece in 2010. They opened to the public in January 2012. The original brewery operated out of an 800 square foot garage, producing 40 gallon batches. The current 8,600 square foot facility, located on Walnut Street in Perkasie, houses a 7.5-barrel system with 15- and 30-barrel fermenters.

Free Will also has a barrel aging program, which includes five 5-barrel barrels. Currently, Bonesaw Barleywine, an English Barleywine aged in French oak Pinot Noir barrels is on tap at the brewery.

Blood and Guts is a dark sour ale brewed with cherries. Released in 16.9 ounce bottles, the bright red beer label features a chainsaw with splattered dark red blood. The perfect Halloween beer, perhaps?

Wanna pick this one up? I picked up this bottle at Capone’s Bottle Shop in Norristown, PA.
