Steph’s New Brew Review: Jungle Boogie

Steph’s New Brew Review: Jungle Boogie

Marz Community Brewing Company Jungle Boogie, a 5.4% ABV Pale Wheat Ale with Rooibos Tea

Appearance Frothy off-white head; dark orange color.
Aroma Bright peach and mango aromas with herbal, floral, and earthy notes.
Taste Herbal, fruity tea flavors up front with a pleasant lingering peach note.
Mouthfeel Medium-bodied, bright carbonation.
Overall The tea and hop flavors and aromas blend so nicely making this a curiously different, yet satisfying beer.

Marz Collective is comprised of homebrewers, professional brewers, and artists that first connected while drinking beers at Maria’s Packaged Goods & Community Bar, a community bar in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The group was inspired to create a new experience for natives and visitors to the “Community of the Future” – Bridgeport.

Marz Community Brewing Company makes small, artisanal batches of beer in a sustainable and socially responsible manner. The beers are then shared with family, community, and friends they “have yet to meet.”

Marz is known to make some of the most creative beer in Chicago, and Jungle Boogie is no exception. Jungle Boogie is an American Wheat beer with just enough complex malt character to balance the Mosaic hops and fruity Rooibos tea flavors.
