The 5th Annual Schuylkill County Brew Fest Will Move to a New Location

Press release… The 5th annual Schuylkill County Brew Fest – presented by Puff’s Promotions & Cousin Dave Entertainment, in coordination with The Continued Progress Project – is upon us, and to help celebrate the 5 year anniversary the festival is moving to a new location. Downtown Pottsville will now host the annual event on Centre Street, between Market and Laurel Streets. When asked about the big move, co-founder Dave Cantwell said, “I’m so excited! We would like to thank the Frackville Elks for hosting us the last 4 years.”

“I’m not going to lie; we all got pretty complacent having it at the Elks every year. We both saw the move as a big opportunity to expand the festival, try some new things and see where it takes us going forward,” said Tyler Budwash, co-founder of the SCBF.

This year’s festival will feature at least 30 breweries, mostly local and regional breweries that are opening or have been open for only a few years. You can also expect food trucks, craft vendors and live music by Jeremiah Tall.

Returning this year will be the Skook Series Championship. Just like last year, Budwash’s brewery-in-planning, Pilger Ruh Brewing, collaborates with a few of the participating breweries on unique beers made just for the festival. Festival attendees then vote on the beers and the winner receives a championship title for the next year. Last year’s winner was Rotunda Brewing Company in Annville, PA.

The event will take place May 18th 2019 from 2-5:30pm. VIP session is 1-2pm. Pre-sale tickets will be available from March 1st through April 1st. You can find more information on tickets and festival line up at puffspromotions.com and Facebook.
