South County Brewing Company, located in Fawn Grove, PA, has recently announced exciting new expansion plans as well as a refresh of the brand’s design. Since opening in 2011, South County has grown steadily and evolved under the direction of founder and brewmaster, JR Heaps. After a chance meeting with the talented artist/designer Chris Pappas, they have focused their look, incorporating familiar key elements as well as engaging new visuals that help document their journey.
The mosaic of labels below represents South County’s production schedule for 2018, some are year-round, some are seasonal and there are still a few surprises coming.
Along with the new look, the brewery has a multi-faceted expansion in the works, completing in March. This includes installing an automated canning line by CODI Mfg. and new fermentation and cellar capacity. Their distribution will be expanding into Baltimore County and Western, MD, as well as Berks, Chester, and Philadelphia counties in PA. You can also expect to see more of their beers in existing markets. Plus, beginning March 4th, the tap room will be open on Sundays.
Be sure to keep up with all the awesomeness coming out of South County on their website, and follow them on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. And check out owner JR Heaps’ most recent appearance on Beer Busters Podcast Episode 125.
To Whom It May Concern,
The brewer of which you wrote, South County Brewing, subscribes to extremely unethical business practices and that reputation is now being assigned to your organization by many readers. JR Heaps, the proprietor of South County Brewing, took substantial loans totaling tens of thousands of dollars from friends and family to build his business and has not, nor will not, pay those loans back. A true shyster. I’m sure that you can appreciate how damaging it could be to your business and personal reputation to be even remotely associated with this organization and its owner.
