After much hard work and anticipation, Boneshire Brew Works opened in November 2016. The brewery is located at 7462 Derry Street in a former indoor batting cage facility next to Signal 5 CrossFit.

Brewmaster and majority owner Alan Miller brews on a 15-barrel brew system located behind the bar. Miller has been homebrewing for over a decade. He owned Millbock Brewing Company with Albert De Bock from 2011 to 2014.

Bar Gifts

Motivated by the desire to keep brewing, Miller bought the Millbock equipment, brought on 10 business partners, and began working to open Boneshire Brew Works.

The beers on tap during our visit included…

  • Devil’s Burden – 6.66% ABV Rye IPA
  • LazaRIS Unrobed – 9.5% ABV Russian Imperial Stout
  • English Curse – 4.2% ABV Porter

  • IPA Test Batch #1 – 6.5% ABV IPA with Citra, Mosaic, and Centennial hops
  • Tried and True – 5.5% ABV Belgian White Ale

Beers are available in pints, half pints, or flights of 4 beers of your choice. Fill a 32-ounce or 64-ounce growler to go.

In addition, Jack’s Original cider is available in cans and local wines are available by the glass. Stewart’s sodas, bottled water, and Stark Energy Drinks are also available.

Hungry? Enjoy BBQ options like chicken on a stick or pulled pork. Other snacks include Miller’s hot bologna, ot cherry peppers, dill pickles, chips, cookies, pickled eggs, and beer fudge.
