On Friday, Spetember 14, Workhorse Brewing Company in King of Prussia, PA officially opened to the public. Workhorse is a big, ambitious project headed by experienced entrepreneur Dan Hershberg, President and Co-founder of Philly Phaithful apparel company, and piloted by award-winning brewer Nate Olewine, formerly of Victory Brewing and Devils Backbone. The story and vision behind the brewery, as well as Dan’s exciting plans for its future are fascinating to hear. We got the pleasure of returning to Workhorse for the soft opening, the day before the official grand opening. Though it was obvious the place was going to be an awesome spot when there was still sawdust on the floor, experiencing it up and running was incredible. The atmosphere was exciting, the staff was excellent, and – most importantly – the beer was amazing. Workhorse has not only filled a void in the KOP area, but is sure to be a destination worth the trip from far and wide.
