The Presby Campaign: Just In! Voting Begins Today

The time has finally come. After weeks of campaigning for Colin Presby, voting has begun. American Homebrewers Association members now have the chance to vote for the 8 available spots on the AHA Governing Committee. Vote now by clicking here.

Colin Presby is the candidate that deserves your vote. The east coast representation on the Governing Committee for the AHA is weak, and we need more voices, like Colin’s, to represent us. Colin is pushing for a local/regional organization within the AHA. His campaign promise is that if elected, he will absolutely get a rally in the Philly area in the next 12 months. Read more about Colin’s statement on the AHA website.

Another great reason to vote is that members who submit a ballot get an extra chance in the Lallemand drawing for the scholarship for the World Brewing Academy’s Concise Course in Brewing Technology. When submitting an election ballot, AHA members are offered an additional entry into the raffle as a thank you for voting.

You can vote until March 31, 2014, so there is still time to join the AHA or renew your membership. Members should also look for the next issue of Zymurgy to appear in their mailboxes this week. This issue will feature information about the candidates running for a spot on the committee. You can also read more about the other candidates on the AHA website.
