While most bands celebrate album anniversaries with remastered versions, Jimmy Eat World have another idea.
The Arizona-based rockers have announced plans to release a special beer to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album Futures. The beer, so far referred to as “Futures 10,” will see the band team up with Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company, with proceeds being donated to MS Society and Little Kids Rock.
The beer will be a saison that features an “indigenous recipe” of locally grown ingredients from the Gilbert/Mesa, AZ area, including prickly pear cactus.
Futures was originally released on October 19, 2004, and included the radio singles “Pain,” “Work,” and the title track “Futures.” The band will also play a string of tour dates to celebrate the album’s milestone, starting October 2nd in Ventura, CA.
