Funk Brewing Company is getting ready to open the doors on a new taproom at 28 South Market Street in Elizabethtown, PA. Located in the former Elizabethtown Hotel building, the taproom will be next door to the Pita Pit.
Funk Brewing Company is owned by brother-in-laws Jon Norman and Kyle Funk. The brewery opened in 2014 in Emmaus, PA. Norman is originally from Elizabethtown, which inspired the spot for Funk’s second location.
Funk’s new taproom will add to the growing craft beer scene in the area with Moo-Duck Brewery in Elizabethtown and Cox Brewing Company in Rheems, PA.
Beers will be available in pints on site and in growlers and six packs to go. Food will be served, and there will be a small stage for live music.
The taproom is expected to open in November 2015.
