Another brand new beer festival is happening in Berks County! In fact, this will be the first ever beer festival in northern Berks County.
Our Town Foundations (founders of the Taste of Hamburg-er Festival) and Windsor Distributing Inc.are presenting “Art of the Brew” Beer Fest. The event will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Hamburg Field House.
The $32 advance ticket will include tastings from over 15 breweries and a burger or chicken meal byDeitsch Eck Restaurant, winners of the 2014 Taste of Hamburg-er Festival’s People’s Choice Award. The meal will include a side and drink. There will be live music from The Barren Wills and Uncle Jake & the 18 Wheel Gang, and attendees will receive a souvenir tasting glass.
The brewery list, which keeps growing, currently includes Appalachian, Barking Squirrel / Mr. Huff, Deschutes, Flying Fish, Lavery, Liquid Hero, Sam Adams, Sly Fox, Stoudts, Straub, Stegmaier, Susquehanna, Yards, and Yuengling.
Designated driver tickets are $10, and general admission tickets will be $40 at the door. The $32 advanced tickets can be purchased by calling 610-562-3106 or online at www.hamburgpa.org by clicking on “events”. You can also stop by the Old Town Foundation at 335 State Street in Hamburg to purchase tickets.
