Founded in 2012 by three friends and homebrewers, Night Shift Brewing is located in Everett, Massachusetts, 5 miles north of Boston. Through culinary inspiration and determined innovation, Night Shift aims to create memorable craft beers that offer a wide array of unique, complex flavors.

The trio began homebrewing on a 5-gallon brew system in Somerville, Massachusetts in 2007, often brewing past midnight several times a week. The desk workers by day, homebrewers by night called themselves “Night Shift Brewing.”

The night owls wrote a business plan in 2010, began building a 3,000 square foot 3.5 barrel brewery in 2011, and opened to the public on March 31, 2012.

Today, Night Shift is located at 87 Santilli Highway in Everett, Massachusetts. This 30,000 square foot location with a 20 barrel brewing system opened in May 2014. The 2,500 square foot taproom offers samples or full pours in house, as well as bottles and cans to go.

Whirlpool is a soft pale ale bursting with notes of ripe peach and citrus. The beer boasts a 98 overall rating on ratebeer.com and an oustanding rating on beeradvocate.com.
