Overall This beer takes you on a roller coaster of flavors. While it’s a little sweet for my liking, this is still a great offering from Two Brothers.

Two Brothers Brewing Company was founded by brothers Jim and Jason Ebel in 1996 and continues to be 100% family owned. The brothers previously owned The Brewer’s Coop, a home brewing and wine making store in Naperville, Illinois, which ignited their passion to open their own microbrewery.

Two Brothers is located in Warrenville, Illinois. They offer free 45-minute tours of the brewery on Saturdays at 1, 2, and 3 PM and on Sundays at 1:30 PM.

Their tap house is open Monday to Thursday 3:00 – 11:00 PM, Friday and Saturday 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM, and Sunday 12:00 – 9:00 PM. You can enjoy a pint there or buy growlers, bottles, and kegs to go.

For the coffee lovers, check out Two Brothers Coffee Roasters. Open since December 2012, they intend to provide small batch roasted, specialty-grade coffee on par with the quality of their award-winning beers.

The Two Brothers Roundhouse, located in Aurora, Illinois, houses the new Two Brothers Cafe and Bakery, as well as a gastropub and sports tavern. They offer freshly roasted coffee drinks, beans to go, and homemade baked goods, as well as tasty food (including vegan enchiladas!) and beer. It is housed in a historic 157 year old 70,000 square foot facility, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the oldest limestone roundhouse in the United States.

Hop Centric is a seasonal release due to hop availability. This once a year offering is dry hopped with a pound of hops per barrel, offering a very strong aroma of pine and citrus. Caramel and brown sugar balance the high alcohol content. The hop flavor and bitterness is paired with complex fruity characters.
