Firestone Walker Brewing Company, founded by brothers-in-law David Walker and Adam Firestone, is located in Paso Robles, California. The brewery was founded in 1996.

Adam (the bear) grew up on the Central Coast among vineyards and winemaking. He became interested in brewing at an early age, and his pipe dream of opening a brewery was realized when he persuaded David, the Englishman who married his sister, to join him on the journey.

David (the lion) brought a European twist, and together they built a brewery that combines the authentic Old World craft with the innovative spirit of California.

Firestone Walker is known for everything from hop-forward IPAs to barrel aged stouts, Belgian beers, and sours. But this is about the unicorn… the reincarnation of a classic.

Almost 18 years after the release of the original Firestone Lager, Firestone Walker Brewing Company is bringing back a new and improved version. The next-generation lager is impeccably brewed, impossibly smooth and uniquely easy to drink.

The Munich Helles style lager is brewed with German pilsner and North American pale malts, as well as noble German hops including Hallertau Tradition, Spalter Select and Saphir. It is available on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce cans.
