Appearance Hazy yellow orange with thick, foamy white head.
Aroma Fresh hops; citrus, tropical fruit, mango.

The Veil Brewing Company, open since April 2016, is located in the Scott’s Addition neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia. Their focus is hop forward beers, high gravity and barrel aging, lagers, wild ales, and spontaneous fermentation.

Brewer and co-owner Matt Tarpey brings an impressive resume with brewing experience at O’Connor in Norfolk, Portsmouth Brewery in New Hampshire, and The Alchemist in Vermont. Tapey was also the direct assistant brewer to Sean Hill at Hill Farmstead in Vermont and completed two apprenticeships with Jean Van Roy at Cantillon in Brussels, Belgium.

Crucial Crucial Aunt Aunt is an 8.4% double mango double dry-hopped double India Pale Ale. This beer is an amped up version of Crucial Aunt, an 8.2% ABV double IPA brewed with Citra hops and over 100 pounds of natural mango purée and nectar. The can art is 3D, so be sure to get out your 3D glasses!
