Cape May Brewing Company was founded in July 2011 in Cape May, New Jersey with the sole purpose to provide South Jersey with fresh, delicious beer brewed locally. Today, Cape May Brewing Company’s 100+ varieties (the widest selection of any brewery in the state) are sold throughout South Jersey and the Philadelphia area.

Coastal Evacuation is a flagship beer from Cape May Brewing Company. The double IPA comes in at 8% ABV with 80 IBUs and is available on tap and in bottles.

The bottle reads:

“‘Coastal Evacuation’: a phrase common at the Jersey Shore. Hurricane season hits hard, and we’re hitting back with a Double IPA able to withstand the storm. Copious amounts of Centennial hops dominate the flavor from start to finish. It’s time to evacuate-are you prepared?”

Coastal Evacuation won the silver medal in the “Imperial IPA Category” at the 2015 Best of Craft Beer Awards and the silver medal in the “American IPA Category”  at the 2015 World Beer Championships.
