Funk Brewing was founded by Kyle Funk “on a true respect and passion for both the art of brewing and the craft beer that comes from it.”

The brewery is located in a former auto garage, at South 6th and Bank streets in Emmaus, PA. A second location, a brewpub and taproom, will open this month in Elizabethtown, PA.

Funk recently began selling the popular Citrus IPA in six packs of 12-ounce cans. The ale brewed with grapefruit juice is a crisp and aromatic West Coast IPA. The clean malt base allows the grapefruit, orange and pine flavors of the hops to be showcased in both the aromatics and the taste.

The brewery also serves up Double Citrus, which is an enhanced version of Citrus IPA, incorporating four hops, including an experimental hop they call “LemonBomb.” This version boasts strong aromas of melon, citrus, and pine with a malty backbone to balance.

Pick up a six pack of this well-balanced, juicy IPA for your next gathering.
