Known for the manufacture and sale of fine textiles in the 1800s, Manayunk, Pennsylvania is now known for something even more luxurious… beer.

Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant is located in the former Krook’s Mill from the early 1800s to 1992.

Harry Renner IV brought the facility in 1996 for a retail space, fine eatery, brewery, and entertainment complex. The first batch of beer was brewed at Manayunk Brewery on October 17, 1996. They expanded in 2000, adding an outdoor area overlooking the Schuylkill River.

Today Manayunk Brewery features staple year round beers, limited specialty beers, and several beers available in bottles and cans. The brewery was renovated in 2014, including a new brew house, outdoor fermenters, more brite tanks, and a glycol cooling system.

Released for the first time in January 2016, this zesty and citrusy red IPA is brewed with Mosaic, Zythos, and CTZ hops. Baby Got Hops is the first release from Manayunk’s Hip Hop IPA series.
