Devil’s Den and Weyerbacher Team Up to Host Veteran’s Day Fundraiser for The National Military Family Association

Press release… Devil’s Den, South Philadelphia’s craft beer mecca, in collaboration with Weyerbacher Brewing, are joining forces to host a Veteran’s Day fundraiser benefitting The National Military Family Association on Friday, November 10th at Devil’s Den starting at 5pm until close.

Veteran and General Manager of Devil’s Den, Kris Hagan, and owner Erin Wallace, teamed up with Weyerbacher to brew an exclusive collaborative beer for the event – Integri-tea (6.5% ABV) a dark amber saison, brewed with candi syrup and oolong tea.

“Last year we raised $2,500 for veterans. This year with the valued help of our beer community we hope to more than double it,” said Hagan. “We support veterans all year long, but this is an opportunity for guests to come out and enjoy an outstanding selection of local and national brews, bid on numerous raffle items, and partake in a 50/50, all for a good cause.”

100% of the proceeds from the collaboration beer and raffle ticket purchases will be donated to The National Military Family Association, a nonprofit benefitting the families of the currently serving, veteran, retired, wounded or fallen members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Commissioned Corps of the USPHS and NOAA. The keg will officially be tapped at 5pm and select proceeds will also be donated from the brew at the following locations: Cinder, Brü, Old Eagle Tavern, Varga Bar, Weyerbacher’s taproom, Freewill Brewing Company’s tasting room, and Butcher Bar.

Bar Gifts

But it’s not just local bars coming together for a good cause this Veteran’s Day, additional kegs have been donated from 2SP Brewing Company, Coppertail Brewing Co., Evil Genius Beer Company, Austin East Ciders, Evolution Brewing Company, Weyerbacher Brewery, and Barren Hill Brewery – 100% of the proceeds from each of these kegs will also be donated to the National Military Family Association.
