IMPORTANT UPDATE: The venue for this event has changed, it will now be held at the American Helicopter Museum. Also, the Beer Busters will be recording a podcast episode on site. The content of this article has been modified to reflect these changes.

The Chester County Homebrew Festival is celebrating its 5th year. Event planners, homebrewers, and craft beer enthusiasts Ken Delise, Troy Vogt, and Owen Winkler are all members of the West Chester Elks Lodge.

Ken is a handyman/painter/carpenter, Troy is a wealth management guru, and Owen is a web designer. The trio is raising money to support the varied charitable works performed by the West Chester Elks Lodge in the community for over 100 years.

Bar Gifts

Elks invest in the community through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need, and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, June 27 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the American Helicopter Museum in West Chester PA. That’s right! The venue for the event has changed! The American Helicopter Museum is only a few minutes from the West Chester Elks Lodge on the other side of town.

The event will take place inside the hangar next to some impressive aircraft.  There will be more elbow room and weather permitting, the option of opening up the hangar doors.

Early bird tickets cost $35 and go on sale Sunday, March 29th, and 100% of all proceeds go directly to support the charitable works of the West Chester Elks Lodge. Get your tickets here.

Pours

Your ticket includes a buffet-style dinner, live music by The Rob Perna Band, a souvenir event glass, and a chance to sample and vote for your favorite homebrew. Attendees will receive voting chips to cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award. Official judges will offer a Best of Show prize.

Registration will open up for brewers soon. Due to space limitations, there will only be 16 teams accepted, though teams may enter more than one beer. Watch the Facebook event page and website, the guys will post the brews that have been entered to whet your appetite.

The Beer Busters will be on hand recording an episode of the podcast with the event planners, homebrewers, and attendees. We’ll also have t-shirts, stickers, and our newsletter sign-up sheet. Hopefully we’ll see you there, or better yet, sample your brews!
